• How often will I receive replenish alerts?

  Cogsy will send you replenish alerts as needed. Meaning, you’ll only hear from us when there’s at least 1 SKU that needs to be restocked. If all your inventory levels look good, we’ll leave you (and your inbox) alone.

• How does Cogsy calculate lead times?

  Cogsy calculates lead time using your past few POs and those shipments’ corresponding arrival date.

  However, we know that the supply chain has been chaotic lately. So, did your vendor give you insider information on how long they expect your next order to take? Great – manually set that in Cogsy, and we’ll default to that number instead.

• What are Cogsy's restock recommendations based on?

  Cogsy’s restock recommendations are based on how your available inventory compares to your target stock levels. That way, you know what to order and how much to avoid a stockout (and overstock).

• How does Cogsy calculate your target stock levels?

  Restock recommendations rely on your target stock levels, or how much inventory you’ll need to meet demand without over or understocking. Cogsy calculates this target using your demand forecast, current order lead time, and safety margin.
